Doodle Mates Privacy Policy

Doodle Mates ("the Service") respects your privacy and complies with applicable laws. This policy explains what information we collect, use, and store.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect payment method details (e.g., card numbers); these are handled by the Apple App Store / Google Play.

2. How we use information

Account identification and authentication; core features (daily topic, drawing, sharing, reactions, streaks)
The reciprocal reveal feature and operation of spaces (threads)
Notifications such as daily reminders (where you have consented)
Verifying premium deck purchases and granting entitlements
Responding to inquiries, preventing abuse, and improving the Service

3. Third parties & processors

We do not sell your information. We use the following processors only as needed to operate the Service:

Apple, Google — social login, in-app purchases, push notifications (FCM)
Cloud storage provider — storing drawing images

4. Retention & deletion

We delete personal information without delay upon account deletion, except where retention is required by law. Content such as drawings and reactions is deleted upon account deletion or a deletion request.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your information at any time, and may request account deletion in the app or via the contact below.

6. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 14. If we learn we have such information, we delete it promptly.

7. Security

Passwords are stored using one-way encryption and traffic is encrypted (TLS). Private drawings are served only via short-lived signed URLs after authorization.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the effective date and changes on this page.
